Welcome to the FOCUS PROJECT REFERENCE SCENARIO WIKI

"Foresight Security Scenarios:
Mapping Research to a Comprehensive Approach to Exogenous EU Roles"

This Wiki is a higher education initiative within the Security Research project FOCUS, co-funded by the European Union.

The purpose of this Wiki is to provide a collobarative educational environment to develop scenario descriptions for future Security Research.

The FOCUS reference scenarios for planning of "Security Research 2035" to support security roles of the "EU 2035" are based on horizon scanning, study work and foresight conducted in the FOCUS project. The five reference scenarios were derived by an analytical procedure - comprising among other things a comprehensive scenario assessment online questionnaire - from a larger scenario portfolio for European Security Research 2035. They include the following:

Reference scenario "Security Research 2035"
Main thematic aspect (based on FOCUS five "Big Themes")

These reference scenarios have been assigned main drivers, and they will result in a couple of FOCUS conclusions for future Security Research that will be substantiated by a FOCUS roadmap proposal for the planning of "Security Research 2035."

Relevant terminology will be explained in the FOCUS Security European Research Glossary (under construction). A list of abbreviations related to security research and the FOCUS scenarios as part of the glossary work is already available.
